The study was aimed to determine variation in hematological parameters in healthy horses and those with upper respiratory tract affections both at rest and after exertion. A significant increase in neutrophils was recorded in clinical group (6209.14±102) as compared to control group (5298.48±115) before exercise and also there was significant increase in neutrophils in diseased group (6945.10 ± 124/ cmm) as compared to control group (5832.22 ± 99.84/ cmm) after exercise. There was significant decrease in red blood cell count in diseased group (6.34 ± 0.11 million/cmm) as compared to control group (6.88 ± 0.15 million/cmm) before exercise.
