A male pony was presented with no defecation and abdominal pain for last three days. Animal was having moderately distended abdomen and intermittent bouts of abdominal pain. On rectal and ultrasonographic examination, a hard impacted mass was found in right caudal of abdomen. Surgical intervention was opted as medicinal treatment had failed. On mid ventral incision, a hard faecolith was located in small colon and was exterorized with enterotomy. The incision of intestine and abdomen was closed in standard way. The animal had an uneventful recovery.
