Abstract

A female mule was presented with post-partum uterine prolapse. Uterus prolapsed just after foaling and fetal membrane expulsion at full term. Uterus was washed thoroughly with Potassium permanganate and was pushed into normal position under epidural anesthesia. Vulval retention sutures were applied and removed after retention on ten days. Rectal examination on tenth day revealed uterine involution and animal recovered uneventfully without any complications.
