Horses had history of visiting a gaushala recently and were infested with ticks and flies. Clinical examination revealed increased respiration rate and leukocytosis with neutrophilia. Skin scrapings were negative for ectoparasites. The horses were successfully treated with antihistaminics, antibiotics and topical Potassium permanganate.
