Abstract

A horse was reported with coconut shaped growth on left thoracic wall growing gradually since last one year. The hard mass was intact and firmly attached base on left thoracic wall. After thorough clinical evaluation, the growth was completely excised under sedation and local infiltration anaesthesia. Dead space was obliterated with suturing of thoracic muscle and skin was closed with normal horizontal mattress sutures. Histopathological examination confirmed capillary hemangioma with endothelial cellular proliferation and formation of numerous capillaries.
