Abstract

A male camel was presented with protruded soft palate, hematoma and ulceration. Treatment was established by surgical amputation with Xylazine and Ketamine sedation. After careful irrigation of oral cavity, the protruded part of soft palate was amputated. Blood vessels were not ligated and hemostasis occurred spontaneously by cauterized with strong potassium permanganate solution.
