The present communication describes bony form of actinomycosis without tissue abscessation in a crossbred cow. The cow was treated successfully with intravenous injection of 5% Lugol's iodine @ 20 ml at weekly interval for three occasions along with Penicillin and Streptomycin daily intramuscularly for fourteen days. Catamnesis revealed regression of swelling by about twentieth day post treatment without recurrence.
