Abstract

A primiparous crossbred cow with history of abortion during its first gestation was referred with inseminated five months back and reported for pregnancy diagnosis. Rectal palpation revealed a compact, firm and immobile mass without uterine fluid within the uterus. Per-vaginum examination revealed open cervix with only one finger dilatation without any discharge. The case was diagnosed as mummified fetus and following Cloprostenol administration, a mummified fetus was removed per-vaginum.
