A crossbred cow was treated thrice for recurrent bloat. The metallic foreign body was detected in lower side of abdomen and rumenotomy was performed removing approximately 20 kilograms of plastic bags along with the metal wires. At the time of surgery and for post-operative care, the animal was treated with plenty of intravenous normal saline along with that antibiotic, analgesic and multi-vitamin injections for 6–7 days along with dressing and after 20 days the sutures were removed.
