A bullock was presented with history of chronic limping. On clinical examination, solid ulcerated growths of variable size were noticed in interdigital space of all limbs. The animal was sedated with Inj. Xylazine administered @ 0.1 mg/kg b.wt. intravenously and growths were excised completely using surgical CO2 laser under local analgesia. Antibacterials and anti-inflammatories were administered post-operatively. Histopathological examination of excised mass confirmed interdigital fibrosis. The animal recovered uneventfully. Excision of interdigital growth using CO2 laser was found to be a better choice than conventional methods.
