One month old crossbred calf was presented with history of hair growth on right eye since birth. Ophthalmic examination confirmed conjunctival nictitating dermoid cyst. The calf was sedated with Xylazine 0.1mg/kg intramuscularly and retrobulbar, supra orbital and auriculopalpebral nerve block were performed with 2% Lignocaine hydrochloride. Cyst was peeled off along with the dermal layers containing the follicles and temporary tarsorrhaphy was performed. The calf had an uneventful recovery.
