A Hallikar bullock was presented with history of multiple swelling on the skin of right lateral side of the neck since a month. On palpation, the growths were found to be non painful, hard and embedded deep inside. The animal was sedated and growths were excised under local analgesia. Post-operatively, Inj. Ceftriaxone and Tolfenamic acid were administered for five days. Histopathological examination of growth revealed chronic myositis with extensive eosinophilic infiltration. The animal recovered uneventfully.
