A cow was presented with clinical signs of anorexia, high fever, lacrimation, difficulty in urination and presence of white thread like worm in urine. The worm was processed for species identification and identified as Setaria digitata based on morphology and micrometry. The blood sample examined by modified Knott's method showed presence of microfilaria. The animal was successfully treated with Ivermectin along with supportive therapy.
