Abstract

The bi-parietal diameter (BPD), placentome diameter (PL), crown rump length (CRL) and fetal heart rate (FHR) were recorded by transrectal and trans-abdominal ultrasonography in caprine to estimate the gestational age. The BPD 1.1 vs 5.7 cms, PL 0.25 vs 2.86 cms, CRL 3.5 vs 27.2 cms during 44 vs 118 days gestational age. All parameters were positively correlated with gestational age in caprines.
