A ten years old Golden Retriever dog was presented with history of dyspnea, inappetence and exercise intolerance since last one month. Physical examination revealed tachypnea and cardiac murmurs. Hematological values were normal. Vertebral heart score revealed increased cardiac silhouette which was subsequently confirmed in ECG. The animal was treated with ACE inhibitors, diuretics and cardiac ionotropic agents with dietary supplementation of Taurine and L-carnitine.
