The present communication reports surgical management of left lateral abdominal hernia in a three month old puppy. Physical examination on right lateral recumbency, revealed easily detectable hernial ring with doughy, elastic, reducible content, confirming lateral abdominal hernia or enteroepiplocele. With immediate surgical intervention and regular routine post-operative care, the puppy recovered uneventfully without any complications.
