A pup was presented with history of automobile accident and radiograph confirmed complete oblique fracture of right femur. Surgery was performed under general anaesthesia for fracture fixation. Firstly intramedullary pinning was undertaken and further supported by external skeletal fixator with epoxy material. The animal was kept under restricted movements. On twenty eighth day fracture healing was confirmed radiographically and fixators were removed. Recovery was uneventful.
