An intact tom cat was presented with severe diarrhoea for past two months, inappetance and vomition. Animal was found dehydrated, dull and emaciated. Hematology revealed marked neutrophilia with lymphocytopenia. On abdominal palpation, hard tubular mass was felt and radiography showed bowel dilatation proximal to stenotic lesion. On abdominal ultrasonography, hyperechoic mass with intestinal wall thickening were recorded. Under general anaesthesia, hard mass was noticed at the level of ileum and enterectomy and enteroanastomosis was undertaken. Histopathological examination of excised mass confirmed adenocarcinoma of intestine with lymphoid hyperplasia. Post-operative care along with antibiotic and antiseptic dressing were undertaken.
