Fifteen cows were presented for surgical resection of prolapsed cervico-vaginal mass. Details about age, breed, parity, duration of prolapse problem and status after surgery were recorded. The surgery was performed under effect of epidural anesthesia. The mucosal ends were sutured in continuous manner with chromic catgut. Thirteen cows survived after surgical resection, four conceived and delivered healthy calves. The procedure helped in management of prolonged and mismanaged cases of cervico-vaginal prolapse in field condition and ensure fertility in some cows.
