Aural hematoma occurs as a result of physical injury or trauma of the pinna. This report briefs a case of aural hematoma in a domestic rabbit due to Sarcoptes sp. A male domestic rabbit was brought with history of intense pruritis and swollen left ear since past week. Physical examination revealed warm to touch, soft fluctuating swelling of the left ear pinna with crusty ear margins. Skin scraping of ear margin revealed Sarcoptes sp. The rabbit was treated with injectable macrocyclic lactones viz. Ivermectin and surgery was performed for hematoma. The animal showed clinical and parasitological recovery.
