A Guinea pig was presented with complaint of intermittent blood stains all over the cage, bleeding from vulva and occasional straining during urination and dullness since last week. On physical examination, the pet evinced severe pain upon abdominal palpation and a notable hard mass palpated in the bladder region. Radiographic examination confirmed the presence of a radio dense mineralized mass in the bladder. The pet was subjected to cystotomy under general anesthesia. A relatively large cystolith was recovered from bladder and the pet recovered uneventfully.
