Three large white Yorkshire and one crossbred pigs were presented with history of soft fluctuating swelling on umbilical region since birth and increasing size gradually with growth. On clinical examinations, the mass was reducible in all the animals and hernial ring was palpated. Tentatively the case was diagnosed as umbilical hernia and herniorrhaphy was planned. All the animals were premedicated with xylazine, butorphanol and induced with ketamine. Herniorrhaphy was performed and all the animals showed uneventful recovery post operatively.
