In the digital era, for library and information professionals information services provision is a primary activity. So also is the building of quality filtered information resources collections for providing appropriate services meeting the information needs of different clientele. This paper briefly discusses web resources, such as PharmaWeb and PharmaWeb Virtual Library as well as several other web resources to support pharmaceutical research and development. Web resources in pharmacognosy, herbal medicine and dietary supplements are also mentioned.
