The Web is the world's largest, fast growing repository of information, especially medical information resources. A large number of this information can be accessed worldwide for free. Yet, medical and health professionals, and health consumers are overwhelmed with the plethora of information on the Web. Hence, accessing the right information resources in a timely manner is the issue. This paper describes a number of selected freely searchable bibliographic and full-text medical databases on the Web along with their URLs. The paper can help as a reference guide for medical and health professionals, and health consumers to find relevant medical literature. The databases were selected on the basis of their content and authenticity.
