An information architecture should allow for two basic approaches to information retrieval: searching, providing a search engine to process keyed-in queries; and finding, providing a structured browsing environment for users to explore. Both approaches are essential in retrieving from digital resources. Such tools facilitate searching for relevant information in e-resources. This paper presents results of a survey of users' awareness of and skills in using various features of the Google search engine.
