Summarises the findings of the survey of users' requirements, and discusses the features of a prototype of the proposed objects catalogue incorporating multimedia features for the Museum of the Institute of Ethiopian Studies, Addis Ababa. The object-oriented design adopted and the steps and requirements for implementing the prototype are also considered.
