Connectionist expert systems are being developed for decision making in various disciplines. In such systems the subject knowledge has to be represented by neural networks. A quick method is developed for modeling of data in a mathematical form, compatible with neural network representation. The algorithm is used for modeling sample data sets related to library and educational technology. The error of approximation is very small in all the cases considered.
