Distinguishes Lateral Relation (LR) or Non-hierarchic Associative Relation occurring at different levels - among information sources, databases, records within a database, and among concepts (LR-0). Identifies and enumerates with examples thirty-six types of LR-0. In a thesaurus LR-0 is usually represented as RT relation. An RT relation among concepts may be further specified by appropriate role indicators.
