Abstract

Against the background of rapid developments in and application of, Information and Communication Technologies, (ICTs) discusses the type of support and benefits derivable and the problems of information communication and use of ICTs especially in the rural areas of developing countries. Case notes on development communications and use of ICTs are presented. Some of the research areas are enumerated.
