Abstract

Collaboration in management research is essential for producing impactful and innovative studies. Addressing today's complex problems often requires a multidisciplinary approach, combining insights from fields such as economics, psychology, and Informatics. This cross-disciplinary collaboration enhances the depth and practical relevance of research, especially when tackling challenges like digital transformation and sustainability. Collaborative efforts also improve the rigor of research methodologies and create globally relevant findings. ICT has transformed management practices, enabling more efficient decision-making and data-driven strategies. Ongoing research continues to explore ICT innovations and adoption challenges to further advance management capabilities. An analysis of papers in the IIMB Management Review shows a high rate of co-authorship, indicating that collective research is common, though the collaboration coefficient remains low.
