Stephen hawking will be remembered by future generations for his findings on black holes, the nature of space-time, and the origins of the universe. He was constantly warning humanity of its uncaring attitudes, greed and unthoughtful behavior. He was a lover of humanity, a scientist of the highest degree, a philosopher and a prophet. Hawking has left us. But his visions of the future are becoming more relevant than ever before. If we can understand his words and avoid any selfinduced destruction the earth will remain as a planet that can sustain life. Otherwise 'humans have to leave this earth'.
