Stephen William Hawking made Unique Contributions to Theoretical Physics and Cosmology. He collaborated with Roger Penrose for research in 'gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation which was later named Hawking radiation. Hawking was the first to form the theory of cosmology, which was explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He is considered as the most brilliant theoretical physician since Einstein. This article outlines Hawking's most important contributions of Hawking to theoretical physics and cosmology.
