YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine and 3rd most visited site on the web. More than 5.6 billion people use mobile phone, nearly 80% of world population. Almost 94% farmers use mobile phones, especially in developed countries. Farmers are more likely to be found on YouTube in the early morning hours or evening. KVK, Solapur activated YouTube channel by the name “LRT Farm Advise”. It has uploaded short videos on problems related to the production, protection and innovations on crops. The paper review how this programme on YouTube channel helped in improving knowledge of farming, in enhancing adoption of innovation, in increasing productivity and farm income.
