Online Public Access Catalogues for libraries are in existence for the last three decades. Web OPACs emerge in the late 1990’s and are now very popular. A literature review by present authors reveal that the attitude of students to library catalogues has drastically changed in recent years. Most academic libraries are now migrating to Web based Online Catalogue from traditional text- based versions and simple automated catalogues OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) accessible inside the libraries. But being a simple aspect of automation surveys regarding the attitudes of users especially students towards the OPACs and Web OPAC are very few. The present paper investigate students’ attitude towards the use of OPACs.
