State Secretary for Education, Science and Culture of Netherlands, Sander Dekker wrote an opinion article in Dutch about the importance of sharing scientific knowledge and data. It appeard in Volkskrant one of the largest ciruclated daily in Netherlands on 27 May 2016. In this article, as Chairman of the Competitiveness Council of European Union; he calls on his European colleagues to jointly opt for Open Access, making scientific publications freely accessible.
