Knowledge Management (KM) is crucial now in all fields of human activity especially health. This study reports results of keyword analysis conducted to get insights into Health Informatics (HI) research trends. The theme papers can be obtained from the author's keywords and keywords-plus based on cluster analysis. Scientometric analysis of papers on HI indexed in the Web of Science database forms the basis of the study. Visualization techniques were applied using VOS Viewer software to find out the most popular author keywords and co-words. The terms health informatics, medical informatics, electronic health records, informatics, E-health, consumer health informatics, natural language processing, health information technology etc were found to be the most popular author keyword. The highest number of publications was in the English. The term 'health informatics' has co-occurred with several clusters, which refers to the interdisciplinary nature of the field of health informatics. The publication productivity on HI is found to be growing over the years.. The findings of the study also revealed the emerging research areas, dominant topics and the relationships between author keywords and co-words in the field of heath informatics.
