A Study of Internal and External Factors Influencing the Sports Career of Sportsperson

An attempt was made in this study the sports factors influencing sports career. Success or failure in sports, to a great degree, are definitely dependent on these factors. For the present study 90 sportspersons were selected from SGGS Khalsa Mahilpur district Hosiarpur. Investigator has used standardized tool named ‘Inventory of factors influencing sports career’ given by “M.L. Kamlesh and T.R. Sharma. The major findings of the study were that There is no significant difference in the internal factors influencing the sports career of male and female sports persons and there is significant difference in the external factors influencing the sports career of male and female sportspersons.
