The present study was performed to evaluate alterations in haematological parameters on sub-acute exposure of Ivermectin in albino rats. Albino rat weighing 200-300 gm were treated with Ivermectin orally with the help of gavage needle and divided into two groups each group consist six rats. The rats of group I were served as control. However, rats of group II was treated with ivermectin @ 5 mg/kg b.wt. and blood samples were collected on the 28 day of experiment by the help of capillary tube and processed by laboratory methods. Ivermectin @ 5 mg/kg b.wt., orally for 28 days, significantly altered the haematological parameters. It significantly decreased the haematological parameters viz. Hb, PCV and TEC as compared to control. Thus, ivermectin have ability to altered the haematological parameters in albino rats after the sub-acute exposure for 28 days.
