In the present work, experimental study was carried out regarding utilisation of rice-husk ash (RHA) as partial replacement to coarse aggregates in the conventional concrete of M20 grade. Three cubic-test specimens of size 150 mm × 150 mm × 150 mm were prepared by replacing the conventional coarse aggregates by weight of 10%, 15% and 25% along with the one of the same size and specifications without any replacement. These test specimens were casted with respect to the provisions of ‘Indian Standard-456 (2000) ’and cured for 28 days under standard conditions. After 28 days, these test specimens were tested in the compression test machine to find out the compressive strength. The test results were then analysed in terms of the contents of RHA as replacement to conventional coarse aggregates.
