Abstract

Root – knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita.) of soybean is the most important disease and causes up to 50% yield loses in the susceptible cultivars. Effect of chemicals viz. carbendazim @ 2 g ai/kg Seed, carbendazim @ 2.5 kg ai/ha (soil treatment), carbofuran @ 2.5 kg/ha (soil treatment) and phorate @ 2.5kg/ha (soil treatment) and boiagent viz. Trichoderma viride @ 4 g/ kg seed and Trichoderma viride @ 2.5 kg/ha (soil treatment), were compare with Trichoderma viride. In the pot condition it was observed that Trichoderma viride @ 2.5 kg/ha (soil treatment) proved to be most effective against Meloidogyne incognita also increases in yield (number of pods/plant) productivity 40.50 and decreased the galls formation 53.81/ plot.
