Current status of research on the effect of injection timing on the performance of dual-fuel internal combustion engines

Abstract

In order to optimize the power, economy and emission of dual-fuel internal combustion engine, this paper summarizes the effect of different injection timings on the combustion performance and emission of mixed fuels such as natural gas diesel, and the selection of suitable injection timings in different mixed fuel combustion can significantly reduce carbon smoke and NOx emission, and can maintain the basic consistency with pure diesel combustion in terms of power and economy. Finally, it is pointed out that under the pressure of environmental pollution, global warming and energy crisis, new technologies of clean, efficient and energy-saving internal combustion engines are emerging, and China should pay full attention to clean and efficient internal combustion engine technology when formulating the development plan of automobiles, and on this basis, the research on the combustion performance of dual-fuel internal combustion engines relative to the injection timing also needs to be continuously deepened.
