In the paper, we have analyzed the employee productivity and its impact on ROA of State Bank of India and its Associates. Through this study we found that the elasticity of BPE is 0.195, 0.396 and 0-.345 to ROAs, COFs and NPAs in State Bank of India and its Associates while, in case of AISCBs the elasticity has been 0.093, -0.100 and 0.303 respectively. On the basis of the above analysis, we strongly suggests that the SBI&A should improve their per employee productivity with the help of both i.e., pull and push factors without any delay and hesitation. Because, 73.40 per cent ROA of them depends on the above ratios and further, their quality of business per employee is also stronger of SBI&A than other banks operating in India.
