<p>Neopolitan bitch of age four years, weighing 70 kg along with a male dog of same age was presented with history of inability to mate due to Impotentia couendi (Inability to serve). Vaginal smears from said bitch showed 50% cornification, so the bitch was called three days later. At that time the vaginal smear showed 90% cornification. On the same day (day of 90% cornification of bitch) the semen collection was attempted from male dog by digital manipulation, but the response of male was poor. The male was injected with 100 mg of testosterone i/m 12 hours before the scheduled collection on next day. Next day when semen collection was attempted the response from male was good. The spermic fraction was 4 ml with motility score of 60–70%. Total volume of semen was 8 ml. Then A.I. was carried out in bitch using glass vaginoscope and plastic A.I. sheath by holding bitch at 45° angle. Bitch was held in that position for 5 minutes after A.I. The procedure was repeated after 48 hours. Sonography was performed on day 30 after second insemination. On USG 7–8 puppies were visualized and whelping occurred on day 60 after first A.I. Twelve puppies were delivered naturally.</p></sec></body></article></article></body></html>
