The experiment was conducted to observe the effect of Buserelin acetate administration on improvement of conception rate in crossbred cows, suffering from repeat breeding syndrome (RBS). Total sixteen crossbred cows (Gir cows and their crosses with Jersey & Holstein Friesian) with regular oestrous cycle and suffering from Repeat Breeding Syndrome (RBS) with ovulatory dysfunction were selected. White side test was also carried out to exclude the possibility of sub-clinical uterine infection in these animals. Those cows, which found to be in oestrus and presented for artificial insemination, were divided into two groups. In treatment group (n= 8) cows were injected with 2.5 ml Buserelin acetate (GnRH) intramuscularly as a single dose at the time of artificial insemination. In control group (n= 8) cows were inseminated at oestrus without any treatment. The conception rate was significantly higher in treatment group (62.5 %) than control group (37.5 %).
