The study was conducted on 10 buffalo bulls (Average age 8.81 ± 1.38 years) grouped into: (1) Inhibin immunized (n=5) and (2) Non-immunized controls treated with Human Serum Albumin (HSA) (n=5). The bulls were given primary immunization followed by 1st, 2nd and 3rd booster immunizations of inhibin subsequently at intervals of six weeks. The ejaculates were obtained by artificial vagina method aseptically to evaluate and compare the microscopic characteristics in semen of buffalo bulls. Except transient variations, immunization against inhibin did not affect microscopic characteristics viz, sperm concentration (million/ml), sperm concentration (million/ejaculate), mass activity, per cent initial motility, per cent live sperm, per cent abnormal sperm and per cent acrosomal intactness.
