Abstract

Prevalence of indicator organisms in pig slaughterhouse was analysed by collecting swab samples from eighteen different slaughterhouse points. The slaughterhouse floor yielded maximum counts followed by retail outlet floor and transportation van floor while washing water had minimum contamination. Control measures are suggested.
