Repeat breeding cow is an animal which has failed to become pregnant when bred three cycles continuously; to fertile bull or by AI (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="bib001">Hafez and Hafez, 2000</xref>). Repeat breeding in crossbred cow is common at field conditions. It leads to great economic losses to dairy owner. The various reasons of repeat breeding are imbalance of hormonal level in blood, delayed ovulation, unovulatory oestrus cycle nutritional, mineral deficiencies etc.The present case of cow has apparently normal genitalia with clear discharge and having normal oestrus cycle. The cow fails to become pregnant in spite of timely natural service by fertile bull for two years with regular oestrus.Initially, per rectal examinations were performed to detect any abnormality of reproductive tract; however no abnormalities of cervix, body of uterus and uterine horns were detected. Then at the interval of 10th and 17th days per rectal examinations were again performed to examine the developmental structures on ovary. The follicles on ovary were palpated.Correlating the history, cow was treated with Inj. Receptal 500 mcg I/V on the day of natural service. Receptal is synthetic GnrH preparation which is reported to release endogenous gonadotropins and has been used in treatment of repeat breeding and anoestrous condition (Nasr <italic>et al, 1983</italic>). The signs of heat were monitored, but no signs were observed for successive oestrus cycle. The pregnancy diagnosis was done on 60th day post service by rectal examination. The cow found pregnant with success by using Inj. Receptal.</sec></body><back><ref-list><title>References
