Abstract

We study the model of protein regulatory oscillator generated by p53-Mdm2 feedback loop. The dynamical variables in an ensemble of such genetically identical oscillators can able to show synchrony if they are coupled via various mechanisms say direct cell contact, diffusion of signaling molecules, binding growth rate influenced by other cells etc. We simulate coupled differential equations for a group of oscillators coupled by direct coupling mechanism or Master-slave type and the results show this correlated behavior in the dynamical variables.
