This investigation was aimed to assess the problems faced by agri-preneurs in establishing and running their agri-venturtes. Data were collected with the help of semi-structured interview schedule from 49 agri-preneurs, who faced the problems in establishing their agri-ventures. Similarly, the data on problems faced by agri-preneurs who have already established their ventures and faced problems in running agri-ventures was collected from 71 trained agri-preneurs. Finding of research highlighted high rate of interest and lack of subsidy component, lack of collateral security component in the scheme followed by Bankers hesitation to finance, lack of land holding support were the major problems faced by agri-preneurs. The major suggestions given by the trained agri-preuners includes linking the financial institutions with training institutions, banks should follow the guidelines of RBI and private agri-clinics should be treated on par with the government agri-clinics.
