A study was undertaken to assess the yield performance and yield gap evaluation of fourteen late sown wheat varieties viz. DBW-71, PBW 590, DBW-16, WH 1021, PBW-226, DL-788-2, UP-2338, K-9533, Raj-3765, PBW-658, HD-2864, HD-3059, WH-1100 and PBW 373 under irrigated late sown conditions. The analysis of the data indicated that there was considerable yield increase ranging from 3.07 to 43.27 percent between varieties over farmers practice. Variety DBW-71 yielded highest i.e. 44.20 qt per hectare, with the net return of Rs. 43240.00 and Cost-Benefit Ratio of 1:3.31.
